Green Planet Cleaning LLC, is a small business that uses eco-friendly products in cleaning homes and offices. I was contracted during my internship to rework their existing website, to give it a modern look, as well as create content that would attract people to the page, and increase their SEO standings.
Original Site
The original site was created in Weebly. The first thing I did was sit down with David the owner, and tried to get a good understanding of what his goals were for the site. I researed other companies who offer the same sort of services, looking at their sites to see what sorts of things they were doing, or had that the Green Planet site didn’t. Things I noticed were other sites talked about their products more, and had team photos.
Rebuilt Site
Mockups were created in Photoshop, then run by the owner. There were several iterations of header/banner. Some of the more challenging points of creating the site was setting up times to do photoshoots as well as video shoots; as locations needed to be set up, and getting a whole team of people together in one place took some doing. It has now been nominated for an an image award from the ARCSI.
