Full title - The Machine with in and Demons with out This is another drawing from my sketch book which has been used as inspiration for several of my other works.
This drawing was inspired by the Machine with in sketch focusing more on the human/machine aspect rather than the demon aspect.
This sculpture is a metaphor for human spirit and mind. The symbols on the side of the scull/vase represent the elements earth, wind, fire, water. The sun represents thought or enlightenment, and the constellations are the gods/ethereal.
